My class took a trip to Universal Studios Japan today. It was fun until the bus ride back home. One of the (great many) boys in my class fainted and wouldn't wake up. Everyone was calling his name and shaking him and fanning him, but he just wouldn't wake up. After a few very, very, very terrifying minutes of that, he finally started coughing and became half conscious. Turns out he fell asleep while chewing gum, and then choked on the gum while still asleep. He's fine now, but man, were we freaked out.
I'm just writing this because I, for one, am very, extremely, 大変 glad Fumio-kun is okay!! I don't know him particularly well, but everyone in my class is 本当に important to me and I would never want any of them hurt.
And please, be careful when chewing gum while you're tired ^-^
